Platform Comparison

SuperApp vs Deonde

Deonde prices order allowance more generously than we do at the entry level — that is the honest headline and the table below says so twice. What it does not publish is a POS register, a kitchen display, a kiosk, a single named POS integration, or a single third-party delivery network. SuperApp includes the first three on every plan.

What Deonde is

Deonde is a marketplace and ordering platform founded in 2018, serving what it publishes as 24+ countries across South Asia, Africa and the Middle East as well as the US, Canada, UK and Australia. It sells two products: Deonde Express for multi-vendor marketplaces and Deonde Ressto for single restaurants.

How this page is written

Every Deonde cell below states only what Deonde publishes on its own website — no review-site figures, no analyst numbers. Where they publish nothing, the cell says not published rather than claiming the feature is missing. The pages we read and the date we read them are at the bottom, so you can check any row yourself in one click.

Scorecard: 6 to SuperApp, 3 to Deonde, 5 level — by our own reading of the 14 criteria above. Read the rows, not the tally.

  1. 1. Entry plan — This row goes to Deonde and it is not close: four times our entry allowance at the same monthly price. Deonde Ressto also publishes a free-forever single-restaurant tier at 100 orders a month with no card required. If order allowance per dollar is your deciding metric, start there.
Their Case

When Deonde Is the Better Choice

We would rather you buy the right thing than buy ours. These are the cases where that is not us.

Order allowance per dollar is your deciding metric

Deonde Express Pro is $99 a month for 2,000 orders. SuperApp Launch is $99 for 500. If you are launching with volume already lined up and you do not need in-store software, that is four times the headroom for the same money, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

You want to start free

Deonde Ressto publishes a free-forever tier at 100 orders a month with no credit card. There is no equivalent on our price list.

You need INR pricing and Indian payment gateways

Deonde publishes rupee pricing beside dollar pricing and lists Razorpay, PayU and CCAvenue among 30+ gateways. For an operator billing in India, that is a shorter path than asking us.

Our Case

When SuperApp Is the Better Choice

Your merchants need in-store software from you

Deonde publishes no POS register, no kitchen display and no kiosk — it prints to a kitchen display you already own. SuperApp includes the register, kitchen display, kiosk and loyalty tablet on every plan, which turns your marketplace into something you can sell merchants more than order flow.

POS integration matters to you

Deonde names no POS system anywhere on its site — the integrations it lists are payment gateways. If your merchants run Clover, Square or Toast and expect their menu and orders to stay in step, that gap is the whole answer.

You want a per-app cost of zero

Deonde charges $499 one-time per app. Our $500 one-time covers both the iOS and Android deployments, plus domain, SSL, branding, payments, catalog setup and staff training.

Questions

SuperApp vs Deonde FAQ

Is Deonde cheaper than SuperApp?

At the entry level, on order allowance, yes: $99 for 2,000 orders a month against $99 for 500. The comparison narrows once you add the $499 per-app setup fee and account for what is not in the box — no POS register, no kitchen display, no kiosk, and no named POS integration. Which one is cheaper depends entirely on whether you need those. If you do not, Deonde is the better buy at the entry tier.

Does Deonde integrate with Clover, Square or Toast?

Deonde publishes no POS integrations at all. Square appears on their site as a payment gateway, not as a point-of-sale integration. We would rather record that as unproven than as absent — ask them directly. SuperApp merchants get a register from us and two-way sync with Clover, Square and Toast.
