Migration Guide

Migrate from Ordering.co to SuperApp

Ordering.co and SuperApp are the two most similar products on our comparison pages, which makes this the most direct of the three moves: the same kinds of apps, the same kind of dispatch, and a catalog that maps one-to-one. What changes is the pricing model and what is in the box for your merchants.

Why operators make this move

Ordering.co and SuperApp are the two most similar products on this page. The difference a buyer meets first is that Ordering.co publishes a price for exactly one of its tiers and asks you to contact sales for the rest, while every SuperApp plan, allowance and overage rate is on the pricing page.

How this guide is written

What moves is only what the published deployment package and our migration FAQ promise. Anything said about Ordering.co is what Ordering.co publishes on its own website, read on 21 August 2026 for the sourced comparison this guide hangs off. There is no deadline: you switch over on a date you choose.

The Checklist

5 Steps From Ordering.co to SuperApp

Done with you, in the order it happens. The rebuild, the store deployments and the go-live support are the one-time $500 deployment package on the pricing page — there is no separate migration fee.

  1. 1

Book a demo and map your current setup

A 30-minute walkthrough on a live marketplace, where we map what you run on Ordering.co today — verticals, order types, delivery zones, payment methods — onto the platform and onto a published plan for your volume.

  2. 2

    Send us what you have

A catalog export or a link to your live menus, your logo and brand assets, the domain you want the web platform on, and the payment gateway you bill through. If your merchants run Clover, Square or Toast, tell us which — the two-way POS sync is configured per merchant. Ordering.co sizes its plans by store count, so send us the list of stores you run — each becomes an outlet under its business type.

  3. 3

We rebuild the catalogs and configure your marketplace

Catalogs, categories and item configuration are rebuilt by our team, your branding is implemented, your domain and SSL are set up and your payment gateway is connected. This is the one-time deployment package on the pricing page, not a separate migration fee.

  4. 4

Your apps go to the stores under your name

Customer apps are built, submitted and approved on the App Store and Google Play under your own developer accounts, so the listings and reviews belong to you. Your merchants get the partner app on every plan, plus the POS register, kitchen display and kiosk from the in-store suite — software you can resell to them rather than send them elsewhere for.

  5. 5

Run both, train your team, then switch on your date

Your SuperApp marketplace runs alongside your current platform while you test it, your staff and merchants are trained, and you move customers, links and app downloads over on a date you choose — not on a cutover night.

What moves

  • Your catalogs and menus — categories, items and their configuration — rebuilt by us from whatever you send, rather than handed to you as an importer
  • Your branding, implemented across the customer, partner and dispatcher surfaces
  • Your domain on the web platform, with DNS configuration and SSL handled
  • Your payment gateway connected, so customers pay you the way they do today
  • Customer apps built, submitted and approved on the App Store and Google Play under your own developer accounts
  • Staff training for your team and your merchants before the switch
  • Testing and QA alongside your current platform, then go-live support on the date you choose

What this guide does not promise

  • Customer accounts, order history and saved payment cards are not part of the deployment package. Ask on the demo what can be carried across for your setup — we will not promise it here.
  • Your Ordering.co contract is yours to wind down on its own terms; nothing here advises on it.

Scorecard: 6 to SuperApp, 2 to Ordering.co, 6 level — by our own reading of the 14 criteria above. Read the rows, not the tally.

  1. 1. Per-order fee beyond the allowance — Ordering.co publishes its per-order rates even where it withholds the base price, which is the reverse of how most of this category behaves and is worth crediting.
Before You Plan It

When Staying on Ordering.co Is the Better Choice

We would rather you stay on the right platform than move to ours. These are the cases where that is not us.

You want the source code

Ordering.co ships the open-source website, customer, driver and business apps on its Enterprise tier. If your plan depends on owning and forking the codebase rather than renting the platform, that is a decisive difference and we do not match it below our Enterprise conversation.

You are launching at thousands of stores

Their plans are sized in stores — up to 100, 500 and 5,000 — and they publish 100+ country coverage. A marketplace onboarding at that scale from day one should talk to them.

You want a call-centre ordering channel

Ordering.co publishes a call-centre module as one of its six ordering channels. For an operator whose customers still phone in, that is a real product we do not have.

Questions

Moving From Ordering.co: FAQ

Do I need to keep Ordering.co running while we move?

Yes, and you should. Your SuperApp marketplace is stood up and tested alongside it, so orders keep flowing on Ordering.co until the day you choose to switch. Nothing on this page asks you to end that contract early; when to wind it down is between you and them.

I use the Ordering.co kiosk. Is there an equivalent?

The self-order kiosk is part of the in-store suite on every SuperApp plan — unattended ordering with upsells, tips, card-present payment and a printed pickup code, on the same catalog as your apps. It is enrolled on a merchant’s own hardware with a single-use code.

Ordering.co ships source code on its top tier. Will I get the code from SuperApp?

Not on the published plans, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. Our Enterprise band lists enterprise hosting and self-hosted deployment as options you can ask for; if owning and forking the codebase is the requirement, that is a conversation to have on the demo before you plan a move.
