Setup and costs to budget separately

  • One-time app deployment and setup: $500 USD. This fee is separate from the monthly plan and is not waived by annual prepayment.
  • Optional Branded Ops: $299 USD per month. Your partner app and operator dashboard in your name rather than ours — the same apps your merchants and dispatchers already use, fully branded.
  • Annual prepayment discounts the subscription by 10%; per-order overage is not discounted. At 100,000+ monthly orders, request an Enterprise quote.
  • Payment processing, delivery-provider fees, messaging usage, hardware, developer-account charges where applicable and taxes are separate. Confirm any custom integration scope in your quote.

Planning your launch in Australia

Set up local trading hours and validate counter payments

Build the budget for a marketplace in Australia using the published USD order plans. Customer payments in AUD and merchant settlements are separate decisions. Review the local requirements below alongside dispatch, merchant onboarding and the monthly order forecast.

Counter payment requirements

If your counter requires eftpos, identify the exact processor, reader and card-routing requirements before buying devices. A generic card-terminal integration does not establish support for your preferred local method.

Delivery areas and operating hours

Test suburb and postcode coverage with your actual delivery boundaries. For locations across Australian time zones, verify opening times and scheduled collection independently for each location.

Receipts and settlement

Bring your required GST receipt fields and merchant settlement currency to configuration review. Confirm processing, delivery and hardware charges separately from the software subscription. For a marketplace, also confirm who owns each receipt, refund and merchant payout; the SuperApp subscription remains billed in USD.

Payment availability reference: Stripe Terminal card and reader support. Regional guidance reviewed . Confirm current provider eligibility during onboarding.

The stack we recommend

Best-fit integrations for a marketplace in Australia

The payment methods, couriers, messaging and POS that fit how customers in Australia actually order. Live means it is on the published integrations list today. On request means we build it for you: name it at the demo and your quote confirms the scope and timeline before launch. The in-store suite — POS register, kitchen display, kiosk and loyalty tablet — is included and needs none of them.

Before you go live

A marketplace launch checklist for Australia

Six things to settle at the demo and test before the first live order, drawn from how customers in Australia pay, order and expect to be kept informed.

  1. Run one order end to end on each live payment path (Stripe, Stripe Terminal, Cash, card on delivery, card terminal) — success, decline and refund.

  2. Name the on-request integrations your customers expect at the demo — PayID / PayTo — so the quote carries their scope and timeline.

  3. Enable the storefront languages customers need (English) with reviewed translations.

  4. Route order updates where customers read them (SMS) and send a test message before launch.

  5. Decide the delivery model — DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct, Shipday, Google Maps — and test a real address, a delivery zone edge and a cash-on-delivery reconciliation.

  6. Bring your receipt and tax requirements to the demo; the subscription does not set them. Position against Uber Eats, DoorDash and Menulog with your own channel’s zero commission.

Pricing questions for Australia

How much does SuperApp cost in Australia?

SuperApp pricing for Australia starts at $99 USD per month with 500 orders included. All platform fees are billed in USD, including setup and order overage.

How is monthly order overage calculated?

For your chosen plan, subtract its included orders from the month’s order count. Only a positive remainder is multiplied by that plan’s per-order rate and added to the base subscription.

Are setup and branding included in the monthly price?

One-time setup is $500 USD. Customer-app branding is included in the plans; Branded Ops, for partner-app and operator-dashboard branding, costs an additional $299 USD per month.

How should a marketplace in Australia budget its local payment setup?

Use the published USD subscription and overage rates for the software budget. Then confirm AUD checkout, merchant settlement and each required payment method in the deployment scope. Processor fees and any additional integration work are separate; local currency does not guarantee a payment method is implemented.

Which payment methods can SuperApp take in Australia?

Live today: Stripe, Stripe Terminal, Cash, card on delivery, card terminal. Built on request: PayID / PayTo. On-request integrations are scoped and given a timeline in your quote before launch, so name the methods your customers use at the demo.

Can Australian marketplace merchants use different eftpos readers?

Treat each reader and processor combination as a deployment requirement. Demonstrate supported payment and refund flows per device, then agree who installs and supports the equipment across merchants.
