Every plan includes the branded customer app and web platform, order management, dispatch, API access and the in-store suite: POS register, kitchen display, kiosk and loyalty tablet. Higher plans add support and operational capabilities; partner-app and operator-dashboard branding is optional.
Explore the platform featuresSetup and costs to budget separately
- One-time app deployment and setup: $500 USD. This fee is separate from the monthly plan and is not waived by annual prepayment.
- Optional Branded Ops: $299 USD per month. Your partner app and operator dashboard in your name rather than ours — the same apps your merchants and dispatchers already use, fully branded.
- Annual prepayment discounts the subscription by 10%; per-order overage is not discounted. At 100,000+ monthly orders, request an Enterprise quote.
- Payment processing, delivery-provider fees, messaging usage, hardware, developer-account charges where applicable and taxes are separate. Confirm any custom integration scope in your quote.
Planning your launch in South Africa
Confirm the payment route and plan for connectivity
Build the budget for a marketplace in South Africa using the published USD order plans. Customer payments in ZAR and merchant settlements are separate decisions. Review the local requirements below alongside dispatch, merchant onboarding and the monthly order forecast.
Local processor route
Verify a suitable merchant account and the platform’s actual integration before setting a launch date. A country listed through a provider’s extended network does not establish a direct integration with that network.
Connection and power interruptions
Test how staff handle a loss of connectivity or power. The ordering and in-store workflows require an online connection; plan backup connectivity and a documented process for interruptions.
Delivery areas and receipts
Bring the suburbs, address instructions and delivery boundaries you intend to serve. Review required VAT receipt fields and cash-handling procedures, with provider and transport charges budgeted separately. For a marketplace, also confirm who owns each receipt, refund and merchant payout; the SuperApp subscription remains billed in USD.
Payment availability reference: Stripe country availability. Regional guidance reviewed . Confirm current provider eligibility during onboarding.

Before you go live
A marketplace launch checklist for South Africa
Six things to settle at the demo and test before the first live order, drawn from how customers in South Africa pay, order and expect to be kept informed.
-
Run one order end to end on each live payment path (Stripe, Cash, card on delivery, card terminal) — success, decline and refund.
-
Name the on-request integrations your customers expect at the demo — Ozow / PayFast / Peach Payments, SnapScan / Zapper, Yoco — so the quote carries their scope and timeline.
-
Enable the storefront languages customers need (English, with Afrikaans and Zulu where you serve them) with reviewed translations.
-
Route order updates where customers read them (WhatsApp) and send a test message before launch.
-
Decide the delivery model — Uber Direct, Shipday, Google Maps — and test a real address, a delivery zone edge and a cash-on-delivery reconciliation.
-
Bring your receipt and tax requirements to the demo; the subscription does not set them. Position against Mr D Food and Uber Eats with your own channel’s zero commission.

Pricing questions for South Africa
How much does SuperApp cost in South Africa?
SuperApp pricing for South Africa starts at $99 USD per month with 500 orders included. All platform fees are billed in USD, including setup and order overage.
How is monthly order overage calculated?
For your chosen plan, subtract its included orders from the month’s order count. Only a positive remainder is multiplied by that plan’s per-order rate and added to the base subscription.
Are setup and branding included in the monthly price?
One-time setup is $500 USD. Customer-app branding is included in the plans; Branded Ops, for partner-app and operator-dashboard branding, costs an additional $299 USD per month.
How should a marketplace in South Africa budget its local payment setup?
Use the published USD subscription and overage rates for the software budget. Then confirm ZAR checkout, merchant settlement and each required payment method in the deployment scope. Processor fees and any additional integration work are separate; local currency does not guarantee a payment method is implemented.
Which payment methods can SuperApp take in South Africa?
Live today: Stripe, Cash, card on delivery, card terminal. Built on request: Ozow / PayFast / Peach Payments, SnapScan / Zapper, Yoco. On-request integrations are scoped and given a timeline in your quote before launch, so name the methods your customers use at the demo.
What should a South African marketplace establish before onboarding merchants?
Resolve the actual local payment provider and implemented merchant-settlement flow first. Stripe’s extended-network listing is not proof of an integration. Also agree staff procedures for connectivity interruptions before running a multi-merchant pilot.
