Setup and costs to budget separately

  • One-time app deployment and setup: $500 USD. This fee is separate from the monthly plan and is not waived by annual prepayment.
  • Optional Branded Ops: $299 USD per month. Your partner app and operator dashboard in your name rather than ours — the same apps your merchants and dispatchers already use, fully branded.
  • Annual prepayment discounts the subscription by 10%; per-order overage is not discounted. At 100,000+ monthly orders, request an Enterprise quote.
  • Payment processing, delivery-provider fees, messaging usage, hardware, developer-account charges where applicable and taxes are separate. Confirm any custom integration scope in your quote.

Planning your launch in New Zealand

Budget in NZD and test the delivery area you actually serve

Build the budget for a marketplace in New Zealand using the published USD order plans. Customer payments in NZD and merchant settlements are separate decisions. Review the local requirements below alongside dispatch, merchant onboarding and the monthly order forecast.

Local settlement and counter payments

Review your NZD settlement requirements and any EFTPOS workflow with the team and payment provider. An online card integration and a counter payment arrangement may require different accounts or equipment.

Rural and urban delivery scope

Test both street addresses and any rural routes you intend to serve. Set explicit delivery boundaries and charges, and verify when an address should be declined rather than assuming nationwide service.

Seasonal hours and receipts

Bring your GST receipt requirements, public-holiday opening schedule and daylight-saving test cases. Validate scheduled orders and collection times before copying one location’s settings to another. For a marketplace, also confirm who owns each receipt, refund and merchant payout; the SuperApp subscription remains billed in USD.

Before you go live

A marketplace launch checklist for New Zealand

Six things to settle at the demo and test before the first live order, drawn from how customers in New Zealand pay, order and expect to be kept informed.

  1. Run one order end to end on each live payment path (Stripe, Stripe Terminal, Cash, card on delivery, card terminal) — success, decline and refund.

  2. Name the on-request integrations your customers expect at the demo — POLi / account-to-account — so the quote carries their scope and timeline.

  3. Enable the storefront languages customers need (English, with te reo Māori where you serve it) with reviewed translations.

  4. Route order updates where customers read them (SMS) and send a test message before launch.

  5. Decide the delivery model — DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct, Shipday, Google Maps — and test a real address, a delivery zone edge and a cash-on-delivery reconciliation.

  6. Bring your receipt and tax requirements to the demo; the subscription does not set them. Position against Uber Eats, DoorDash and Menulog with your own channel’s zero commission.

Pricing questions for New Zealand

How much does SuperApp cost in New Zealand?

SuperApp pricing for New Zealand starts at $99 USD per month with 500 orders included. All platform fees are billed in USD, including setup and order overage.

How is monthly order overage calculated?

For your chosen plan, subtract its included orders from the month’s order count. Only a positive remainder is multiplied by that plan’s per-order rate and added to the base subscription.

Are setup and branding included in the monthly price?

One-time setup is $500 USD. Customer-app branding is included in the plans; Branded Ops, for partner-app and operator-dashboard branding, costs an additional $299 USD per month.

How should a marketplace in New Zealand budget its local payment setup?

Use the published USD subscription and overage rates for the software budget. Then confirm NZD checkout, merchant settlement and each required payment method in the deployment scope. Processor fees and any additional integration work are separate; local currency does not guarantee a payment method is implemented.

Which payment methods can SuperApp take in New Zealand?

Live today: Stripe, Stripe Terminal, Cash, card on delivery, card terminal. Built on request: POLi / account-to-account. On-request integrations are scoped and given a timeline in your quote before launch, so name the methods your customers use at the demo.

How should a New Zealand marketplace configure merchant readers?

Confirm each merchant’s receiving-account country, reader location and NZD settlement. Stripe Terminal documents regional requirements; a multi-merchant marketplace must validate the actual account structure as well as the hardware.
